Forbidden February: The Valentine's Chastity Challenge
Quick answer: Forbidden February is a chastity challenge that starts on 1 February. Couples choose either the Valentine's 14 (1 to 14 February, ending with a Valentine's Day unlock) or the full month (1 to 28 February). The wearer stays locked, the partner keeps the key, and a small daily task keeps the anticipation building.
What is Forbidden February?
Forbidden February is chastity's answer to the month of love. You lock up on 1 February, hand over the key and let the tension build.
It's shorter and a little more romantic than Locktober, which is why so many couples use it as their first proper challenge. The real gift isn't the cage. It's the trust, the attention and the slow build of anticipation that comes with someone else holding the key.
Pick your track
There are two ways to play. Both start on 1 February.
| Track | Dates | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| The Valentine's 14 | 1 to 14 February | First-timers and couples new to keyholding. Ends with a Valentine's Day unlock. |
| Full Forbidden February | 1 to 28 February | Experienced wearers. Valentine's Day becomes a tease, not a release. |
The rules
- Lock up on 1 February. Your partner keeps the key.
- No orgasms until your end date, unless your keyholder says otherwise.
- Unlock for cleaning, health checks or anything that doesn't feel right.
- Agree a safe word before you start. Using it ends the game, no questions asked.
New to chastity? Start with evenings and weekends in week one and build up. There's no prize for suffering.
The daily plan
One small task a day keeps things playful. Keyholders, bend these to suit your dynamic.
Weeks one and two: the Valentine's 14
| Day | Task |
|---|---|
| 1 Feb | Lock-up ceremony. Hand over the key and agree the rules out loud. |
| 2 Feb | Good-morning check-in before work. |
| 3 Feb | Your keyholder chooses tonight's outfit. |
| 4 Feb | Write down three things you want on Valentine's night. |
| 5 Feb | Surprise inspection, any time of day. |
| 6 Feb | Cook, or order, your keyholder's favourite meal. |
| 7 Feb | Halfway check. A supervised clean and an honest chat about how it's going. |
| 8 Feb | A full day of yes to any reasonable request. |
| 9 Feb | Your keyholder sends a teasing message every few hours. |
| 10 Feb | A massage for your keyholder, nothing expected in return. |
| 11 Feb | Plan Valentine's night together. |
| 12 Feb | Write a short love note, by hand. |
| 13 Feb | Nobody mentions tomorrow. |
| 14 Feb | The Valentine's unlock, or for full-month players, the cruellest tease of the year. |
Weeks three and four: full Forbidden February
The back half is about endurance. Keep one small ritual every day and add a bigger moment each week:
- Daily: a morning check-in and one task from your keyholder.
- Week three: swap roles for an evening. The wearer plans a date, the keyholder just enjoys it.
- Week four: your keyholder picks the unlock day, somewhere between 25 and 28 February, and keeps it secret.
Choosing a cage, or gifting one
For a first challenge, comfort wins every time. A lightweight resin cage in the right ring size is the easiest place to start.
- First challenge: Pink Resin Net Chastity Cage or Black Resin Hive Chastity Cage
- Classic steel: Birdcage Chastity Cage
- Secure day and night: add a Chastity Cage Security Belt
- A romantic touch: swap the padlock for a Lovebound heart lock

Staying clean and safe
- Rinse the cage every day in the shower with warm water and a mild, unscented soap.
- Unlock for a proper clean every few days and dry everything before locking back up.
- Check the skin around the ring for redness, rubbing or broken skin.
- Keep a spare key somewhere the wearer can always reach.
Unlock straight away if you notice swelling that won't go down, numbness, cold skin, colour changes or sharp pain. If it doesn't settle, see a GP or sexual health clinic.
Forbidden February FAQ
When does Forbidden February run?
From 1 February. The Valentine's 14 ends on the 14th, and the full challenge runs to 28 February.
Is 14 days too long for a first time?
Not with a comfortable cage and a gentle start. Build up with evenings in the first week if you're unsure.
Can we pause the challenge?
Yes. Unlocking for cleaning, health or comfort is always allowed. Just pick up where you left off.
Do we need a keyholder?
It's built for couples, but it works as a solo challenge too.
How will my order arrive?
In plain, unbranded packaging, and your bank statement will just show CCSUK.
