Staying clean and safe
Finishing Locktober healthy matters more than finishing it unbroken. Build these habits from day one and the rest of the month gets much easier.
Rinse every day. Warm water and a mild, unscented soap in the shower, worked through the cage. Every few days, unlock for a proper clean and let everything dry fully before you lock back up.
Look before you lock. Check the skin around the ring and under the cage for redness, rubbing or broken skin. Light pressure marks should fade soon after you unlock.
